Midwest Wind Siting Recent Orders & Court Decisions

Ohio

Decision - Ohio Supreme Court upholding the Ohio Power Siting Board approval of the Buckeye Wind Farm in Champaign County.

The majority opinion upholds the detailed OPSB administrative decision approving the wind farm.  This is the first judicial decision on Ohio wind farms.  An extremely anti-wind dissent by Justice Paul Pfeifer starts at page 15 of the court decision - showing the continuing need to educate public officials about wind energy.
